Rules For Solo Classical / Western / Folk Dance:

Attire & Music:
    • Contestants are responsible for providing their own costumes and makeup.
    • Each participant must bring their own dance track saved on a pen drive. Ensure the track is cued and ready for immediate start.
    • It is highly recommended to bring a backup pen drive in case of technical malfunctions.
Props:

Props are permitted for your performance. However, ensure you can bring them on stage yourself.

    • Strictly prohibited: Fire and any fire-related props.
Time Limits:
    • Preliminaries: Maximum 1 minute 30 seconds (1.30 mins)
    • Finals: Maximum 3 minutes (3.00 mins)
Registration:
    • There is no limit on the number of entries per company.
    • All contestants must present their valid company ID cards during registration.
    Judging:
      • Entries will be judged on technique, artistry, choreography, and performance impact.
      • The judges’ decisions are final and binding.

    Rules For Group Dance:

    Team Size:
      • Minimum of 7 members and a maximum of 13 members per group.

      • Entries will be judged based on teamwork, synchronicity, choreography’s impact, and overall performance energy.

Rules For Solo Classical / Film music / Rap Singing:

Preparation:
    • Backing Tracks: Participants must bring their own song on a pen drive, pre-cued and ready to play at the start of their performance.
    • It is highly recommended to bring a backup pen drive in case of technical malfunctions.
    • Accompaniment: Instrumentalists are welcome to bring their own guitars or keyboards for live accompaniment.
    • Song Selection: Cover songs or original compositions are allowed.
    • Other language songs are also permitted.
Time Limits:
    • Preliminaries: Maximum 2 minutes
    • Finals: Maximum 4 minutes
Registration:
    • There is no limit on the number of entries per company.
    • All contestants must present their valid company ID cards during registration.
Judging:
    • Entries will be judged on vocal technique, song interpretation, stage presence, and overall impact.
    • The judges’ decisions are final and binding.

Rules For musical band:

Team Formation:
    • Group Size: Maximum 10 members including vocalists.
Accompaniment:
    • Should bring your own instrument.
Performance:
    • Song Selection: Cover songs or original compositions are allowed.
    • Karaoke Tracks: Only pre-recorded karaoke tracks are allowed. Submit your chosen track on a pen drive. Ensure the track is cued and ready for immediate start.
    • Film, semi-classical, Western, devotional, and Indie songs are permitted.
    • Other language songs are also permitted.
Time Limits:
    • Prelims: Total 6 Min (3min setup + 3min performance)
    • Finals: Total 8 Min (3 min setup + 5min performance)
Registration:
    • There is no limit on the number of entries per company.
    • All contestants must present their valid company ID cards during registration.
Judging:
    • Entries will be judged on vocal blend, stage presence, choreography’s effectiveness, and overall performance energy.
    • The judges’ decisions are final and binding.

Photography

Theme:

The competition will have a pre-announced theme. Be sure to familiarize yourself with the theme before taking your photos.

Submissions:
    • Email: Mode of submission will be announced later via emails, social media platforms (Instagram, facebook)
    • Number of Entries: Each participant may submit one high-resolution (HD) image.
    • Image Format: Images must be submitted in JPEG format.
    • Editing: Only basic adjustments like cropping are allowed. Images must not be retouched or manipulated significantly.
Eligibility:
    • Company Entries: There is no limit on the number of entries from each company.
    • Identification: All participants must submit a copy of their valid company ID card along with their photograph.
Selection Process:
    • Pre-Selection: There will be a pre-selection round based solely on the submitted raw image (unedited version).
    • Disqualification: Entries containing both raw and edited versions of the same image, or that do not meet the specified criteria, will be disqualified.
Registration:
    • There is no limit on the number of entries per company.
    • All contestants must present their valid company ID cards during registration.
Judging:
    • Entries will be judged based on their creativity, composition, technical quality, and relevance to the theme.
    • The judges’ decisions are final and binding.

Short Film

Theme:
    • Apre-announced theme will be provided for the final round.
Film Specifications:
    • Genre: Dramatic, emotional, social message, thriller, or comedy entries are permitted.
    • Length: Strictly between 6 minutes and 10 minutes, including opening and closing credits. Exceeding the time limit will result in disqualification.
    • Language: English or Tamil (with English subtitles mandatory for non-English films).
    • Format: MPEG4 or AVI format.
Eligibility:
    • Team Size: Departments may be represented by a team of 5 to 7 participants.
    • Originality: All entries must be original content.
    • Company Affiliation: At least 80% of the total cast and crew must be working for the company submitting the film.
Selection Process:
    • Disqualification: Films exceeding the time limit, containing vulgarity, or promoting discrimination based on caste, gender, or religion will be disqualified.

Judging:
    • Captivate with Storytelling: Engaging narrative, clear message, and effective use of the given theme.
    • Impress with Technical Execution: Solid cinematography, sound design, and editing that enhances the story.
    • Showcase Originality & Creativity: Fresh ideas, unique perspective, and impactful execution.
    • The judges’ decisions are final and binding.

Stand up Image

Ramp Walk

Team:
    • Each team must consist of 5 to 13 members.
Theme:
    • All teams must design their walk around a pre-assigned theme, which will be provided beforehand.
Music:
    • Participants are responsible for providing their own music track on a pen drive.
    • Tracks must be submitted one week before the event.
Attire:
    • Costumes should be creative and represent the chosen theme.
    • Vulgarity and obscenity are strictly prohibited.
Eligibility:
    • There is no limit on the number of entries per company.
    • All contestants must present a valid ID card during registration.
Time Limit:
    • Ramp walks must be between 5 and 7 minutes in duration.
