SOLO DANCE – RULES & REGULATIONS
Categories
Participants may compete in one or more categories:
- Classical Dance
- Folk Dance
- Western Dance
Competition Format
The competition will be conducted through the following stages, as applicable to each subcategory:
- Prelims
- Common Prelims ( for entries outside the it park)
- Semi-Finals
- Finals
Attire & Music
- Contestants are responsible for arranging their own costumes, attire, accessories, and makeup.
- Participants must arrive at the venue dressed and fully ready for their performance.
- Green rooms or changing facilities will not be provided at the venue. Participants are requested to make the necessary arrangements in advance.
- The organizing team will provide a link for uploading the performance track within the specified deadline, it will be sent via ( WhatsApp, SMS ,call , email).
- Participants are strongly advised to carry a backup pen drive containing their performance track in case of any technical issues.
- Music tracks must be submitted in the format and within the deadline specified by the organizing team.
Props
- Props are permitted, provided that the participant can carry, place, use, and remove them independently without assistance.
- Fire and all fire-related props are strictly prohibited.
- Any use of confetti, colour papers, powders, or similar materials must be informed to and approved by the organizing team in advance.
- Participants are responsible for ensuring that their props do not damage the stage or create safety concerns.
Time Limits:
- Prelims: Maximum duration 2 minute (2.00)
- Semi finals: Maximum duration 2 minute (2.00)
- Finals: Maximum duration 3 minute (3.00)
- The final decision would be given by the judges.
Registration
- There is no limit on the number of entries per company.
- All contestants must produce a valid company ID card during registration.
- Registration Fee: INR 750/- per entry

Competition Format
This category consists of two rounds:
Team Composition
- Each team must consist of a minimum of 7 members and a maximum of 15 members.
- Each team must consist of members belonging to the same organization/company.
- There is no limit to the number of teams that can participate from a company.
Attire & Music
- Contestants are responsible for arranging their own costumes, attire, accessories, and makeup.
- Participants must arrive at the venue dressed and fully ready for their performance.
- Green rooms or changing facilities will not be provided at the venue. Teams are requested to make the necessary arrangements in advance.
- The organizing team will provide a link for uploading the performance track within the specified deadline, it will be sent via ( WhatsApp, SMS ,call , email).
- It is highly recommended that each team carry a backup pen drive containing their performance track in case of any technical malfunctions.
- Teams are responsible for ensuring that their music track is submitted within the prescribed deadline.
Props
- Props are permitted as part of the performance; however, teams are responsible for
bringing them onto the stage and removing them safely after the performance.
- Fire and any fire-related props are strictly prohibited.
- Participants must inform the organizing team in advance if their performance
involves items such as confetti, colour papers, powders, or similar materials.
- All props must be handled responsibly and must not cause damage to the stage or create any safety hazard.
Time Limits:
- Semi-Finals: Maximum duration 2 minutes 30 seconds (2.30 mins)
- Finals: Maximum duration 4 minutes (4.00 mins)
- The final decision would be given by judges.
Registration
- There is no limit to the number of entries allowed per company.
- All contestants must present their valid company ID cards during registration and verification.
- Registration Fee: INR 7,500/- per team
The judges will evaluate the teams based on their overall execution, coordination, creativity,
and ability to engage the audience through their performance.
Final Decision
- The decision of the judges will be final and binding.
- Participants and teams are expected to follow the instructions of the organizing committee and venue authorities throughout the competition.
