Subcategories

The Singing category consists of the following subcategories:

  • Solo Classical Singing
  • Solo Film Music Singing
  • Solo Western Singing

Competition Format

The competition will be conducted through the following stages, as applicable to each subcategory:

  • Prelims
  • Common Prelims ( for entries outside the it parks )
  • Semi-Finals
  • Finals

Preparation – Solo Singing

  • The organizing team will provide a link for uploading the minus-one track within the specified deadline, it will be sent via ( WhatsApp, SMS ,call , email).
  • It is highly recommended that participants carry a backup pen drive containing their performance track in case of any technical malfunctions.
  • Participants are welcome to bring their own musical instruments for live accompaniment.
  • Songs in any language are welcome.
  • Participants are responsible for ensuring that the submitted track is the correct and final version of their performance.

Time Limits:

  • Prelims: Maximum duration 2 minutes (2.00 mins)
  • Semi-Finals: Maximum duration 2 minutes (2.00 mins)
  • Finals: Maximum duration 3 minutes (3.00 mins)

Registration – Solo Singing

  • There is no limit to the number of entries allowed per company.
  • All contestants must present their valid company ID cards during registration and verification.
  • Registration Fee: INR 750/- per entry

Judging Criteria – Solo Singing

Entries will be evaluated based on:

  • Vocal Technique
  • Song Interpretation
  • Musicality
  • Stage Presence

Overall Performance Impact

  • The Semi-Finals format, performance duration, and submission requirements will be decided by the organizing committee and communicated to the shortlisted participants.
  • The organizing committee reserves the right to determine the number of participants qualifying for each subsequent round based on the number of registrations and the overall competition structure.
  • The decision of the judges will be final and binding.
  • The organizing committee reserves the right to modify the competition format, round structure, qualifying criteria, or performance requirements based on the number of registrations and event requirements.

Competition Format & Selection Process

  • Based on the evaluation, the participants will be shortlisted for the next stage of the competition.
  • The shortlisted participants will be invited to participate in the Semi-Finals.
  • Participants who qualify from the Semi-Finals will proceed to the Finals.
  • The Semi-Finals format, performance duration, and other requirements will be decided by the organizing committee and communicated to the shortlisted participants in advance.
  • The organizing committee will determine the number of participants qualifying for the Semi-Finals and Finals based on the number of registrations and the overall competition structure.
  • The decision of the judges will be final and binding.

Important Note

Note: The initial selection for the Singing category will be conducted through video submissions. Participants must submit their recorded performance within the specified deadline. These videos will be judged, and the shortlisted participants will qualify for the Semi-Finals. The winners/qualifiers from the Semi-Finals will then proceed to the Finals.

BAND - RULES & REGULATIONS

Competition Format

The Band category consists of:

  • Semi-Finals
  • Final

Team Composition

  • Each band must consist of a minimum of 6 members and a maximum of 13 members.
  • All members of the band must belong to the same organization/company.
  • All team members must present their valid company ID cards during registration and verification.
  • There is no limit to the number of bands that can participate from a company.

Preparation – Band

  • Participants must bring their own musical instruments for the performance.
  • Film songs from any language are permitted.
  • Bands are responsible for bringing all instruments and equipment required for their performance.
  • The organizing team will communicate the technical and stage requirements to participating bands in advance.

Time Limits:

  • Semi-Finals: Maximum duration 7 minutes (7.00 mins)
  • Finals: Maximum duration 8 minutes (8.00 mins)

Registration – Band

  • There is no limit to the number of entries allowed per company.
  • All contestants must present their valid company ID cards during registration and verification.
  • Registration Fee: INR 7,500/- per team

Judging Criteria – Band

Bands will be evaluated based on:

  • Technical Proficiency
  • Musical Coordination
  • Stage Presence
  • Creativity & Arrangement
  • Overall Performance Quality
  • Audience Engagement & Impact
  • The final decision would be given by the judges

Important Note – Band Competition Format

Note: The competition format for the Band category will be determined by the organizing committee based on the total number of registered teams. Depending on the number of participants, the organizing committee may decide to conduct the competition through Prelims, Semi-Finals, and Finals, or proceed directly to the Finals. The final competition structure will be communicated to the participating teams after the registration process is completed.
